MATTEO ROBIGLIO
Matteo Robiglio (1966) leads the design branch of Avventura Urbana (www.avventuraurbana.it), first and main Italian agency in community planning and architecture he co-founded in 1992.
Avventura Urbana is consultant for urban design, urban strategies, environment and participation to main Italian cities as Turin, Bologna, Bolzano, Milan, Rome, Naples, Palermo, where it promotes and leads public programs of urban renewal with national and UE funding as well as urban and architectural projects for private developers.
He is Professor in Architectural and Urban design at the Department of Architectural and Industrial Design (DIPRADI) and member of the board of the Doctorate programme in Architecture of Turin Polythecnic. He is currently charged of the Ecological architecture design courses in the Master class of the First Architecture Faculty and of the thoretical course Architecture and society.
He is co-author with Giovanni Durbiano of Paesaggio e architettura nell’Italia del Dopoguerra (Rome 2003), with Marianella Sclavi (ed.) of Avventure Urbane. Progettare la città con gli abitanti (Milan 2002) and with Giancarlo De Carlo of La Costruzione di un progetto (Milano 2005). He coedited, in the frame of the research network Infra, the three volumes Forme Insediative e Infrastrutture (Venice 2002-2006). Avventura Urbana co-authored under the supervision of Luigi Bobbio A più voci. Amministrazioni pubbliche, imprese, associazioni e cittadini nei processi decisionali inclusivi (Rome 2005) the first handbook for deliberative decision-making published in Italy.
