International Design Workshop | Designing the Open Museum: from Heritage to Living Courtyard
In the framework of the Festival LEARNING FROM SATOYAMA. The Japanese way to sustainable built environment
The international workshop explores the concept of Satoyama, understood as the dynamic balance between human communities and their environment.
The participants will develop conceptual ideas for a design proposal for the reconfiguration of the museum entrance area (courtyard and covered garden), how a semi-enclosed urban space can become an open, living, interactive with the city, where ecological processes and cultural activities coexist.
Call for participation of all master’s degree students in Architecture (ACC/MACC - APS/MASt - MAP/MAH), Urban and Regional Planning, Landscape Architecture and post-graduate students of the School of Specialisation in Architectural and Landscape Heritage.
