Invisibility & Resistance | A summer school on AI, control and tactical opacity
This summer school approaches AI not only as a technology, but as a structure of power—one that captures, models, predicts, and shapes human behaviour.
Here, you will experiment with modularity as a thinking system and a way to model how contemporary power operates and how it might be resisted.
Over this week, you will:
• Develop new tactics of invisibility and resistance.
• Explore how to become unpredictable, unclassifiable, or unlearnable.
• Translate ideas into diagrams, texts, sounds, and speculative systems.
• Design cognitive machines and conceptual interventions.
The summer school is not about coding or technical mastery. It is about creative thinking. No prior technical knowledge is required.
Participants
We welcome applications from people with a background in design, architecture, computer science, artistic practices or related fields (Master students, PhD, or equivalent) and an interest in AI, speculative design, or the interaction with technologies in socio-technical systems.
