The Housing Question: European perspectives and local realities

In December 2025 the European Commission published its first Affordable Housing Plan. With a rising demand by Member States to make use of European Funds for housing, the European Union is currently laying the grounds for European housing policies. The results of the ESPON HOUSE4ALL project provide evidence for the European Commission, the JRC and the Parliament.

The talk will summarise the developments at the EU level until today and provide insights how the research projects results are being used.
